Katie Telecki

President/CEO

With 20 years of experience in mechanical contracting, Katie transitioned to president/CEO and owner in 2014. As a graduate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Katie is a natural leader guiding all aspects of the Environment Mechanical’s business. She is a skilled negotiator who directs Environment’s business development. Katie leads Environment with a strategic vision for future growth.

Erica Larson

Vice President

Erica has been with Environment since the beginning of her career. Starting in 1999, Erica has amassed over 24 years of experience in numerous aspects of mechanical contracting. As vice president, Erica manages the finance and administration operations at Environment. Erica graduated from Dominican University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration.

Regena Leu, P.E., LEED AP

Vice President

With 15 years of experience, Regena works closely with general contractors, engineers, architects and fellow trades to keep all Environment projects running smoothly. Regena is involved in many of the various HVAC services Environment provides including budgets, plan and spec, and design/build. Regena became a licensed professional engineer in 2012 and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

David DiBennardi

Senior Project Manager

David has vast experience in the mechanical contracting business. He began apprenticing with sheet metal, piping, and controls culminating as journeyman union service fitter. For the last 25 years, he has been in the management side of the business as estimator, project manager, and account executive. David has served as senior project manager at Environment for the last 10 years. Working closely with design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate, schedule, and problem solve on almost every type and size project.

Erik Schaefer

Senior Project Manager

Erik has 15 years of mechanical contracting experience. This includes estimating and managing projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Erik works directly with clients to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and keep an open line of communication with the project team to ensure a smooth project. Erik is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Kelon Stewart

Project Manager

With five years of experience in mechanical contracting, Kelon is transitioning from project engineer to project manager. As a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering, he uses his experience to assist with design/build ventures as well as leading Environment’s AutoCAD department. He works alongside senior project managers, general contractors, and engineers to aid in all manner of solutions provided by Environment Mechanical.

Rowann Wieczorek

Human Resources and Accounts Receivable Manager

With 32 years of office administration experience, Rowann has worked with Environment Mechanical for 16 years, currently as the HR/AR Manager. She is an adept communicator with excellent time management and ability to problem solve. These skills assist in her interactions with personnel, customers, and the unions. Rowann found her passion for mechanical contracting through hands-on experience and mentoring from her amazing colleagues at Environment.

Laura Johnston

Accounting Specialist

Laura is an accounting professional with over eight years of experience working in corporate accounting. She manages the accounts payable department for Environment while working with project managers and other team members to ensure workflow efficiencies throughout. Laura is detail oriented and committed to developing strong vendor relationships. Laura received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.

Mike Gale

Service Manager

As service manager, Mike is a Local 597 journeyman service fitter with 25 years of experience at Environment. He is a skilled communicator overseeing the service department personnel to maintain Environment’s productivity and ensure the quality of client projects. Mike’s proven ability to address mechanical issues enables Environment to deliver thorough and efficient customer service.

Dave Dolezal

Sheet Metal Superintendent

With 26 years of experience, Dave started in residential HVAC and shop fabrication gaining the skills that developed his core values and gave him exposure to the various sides of the industry. As a Local 73 Superintendent, he has over 20 years of experience running commercial HVAC projects in the Loop and surrounding suburbs. He works closely with the clients, project managers, and field foremen to ensure all jobs run smoothly. In addition to Dave’s exceptional work ethic, his knowledge, awareness, and passion guarantees projects are done to our customers’ satisfaction.

Justin Kozlowski

Piping Superintendent

After starting as a pipefitter foreman in 2013, Justin was quickly promoted to superintendent. He has been part of Local 597 for 23 years and was awarded a Certificate for Excellence in Welding from Local 597 and the Mechanical Contractors Association. Justin has worked extensively in refineries and nuclear power plants while his expertise lies with the commercial HVAC industry. He is detail oriented with focus on the quality of the work and how to utilize his accomplished team to exceed expectations and achieve the customer’s vision.

Jim Haaker

Logistics and Safety Director

With 10 years at Environment, Jim has vital roles as logistics and safety director. He directs all aspects of logistics management to distribute materials and equipment with efficiency of time and cost. Jim oversees inventory while maintaining critical vendor relationships. His commitment to cost and quality audits drives continuous improvement. With his OSHA 30 certification, Jim collaborates with management to implement safety policies and procedures. He conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety guidelines.
